Identifying Better Ways
We actively encourage our workforce to provide regular input – asking questions, offering suggestions and participating in many ways to improve our business. Here are just a few examples of how employees help make Unum better.
- Employees have submitted thousands of suggestions through our Great Ideas campaign that have identified better ways to do business and saved the company more than $10 million.
- An independently managed employee opinion survey solicits feedback from our people about the company’s work environment, measures employees’ engagement with key company initiatives, and gauges their understanding of our policies and business practices.
- Regular employee performance reviews provide a forum for employees to receive and contribute feedback, and address issues as they arise.
